David's sister, Gwen, came and visited us for a couple of days this week. She's studying law at a school in Michigan, so she wasn't too far away. What a treat for Ethan, since it had been about one whole year since she had seen him!
It was great fun to hang out with my sister-in-law. While David worked during the day, she and I (with Ethan in tow) would work out in the morning, come back home, have a snack, chit chat. Then we'd have lunch and put Ethan down for a nap. Usually, David was home for lunch by this time, and if we didn't have more errands to run, we would all doze in the afternoon. Gwen and I spent a lot of time talking and watching Ethan play.
