Some video updates

Some highlights of what the kids have been doing this winter...

In the below clip, you can see Ethan just above the music stand, wearing a white shirt. This is his first choir concert :)

In this clip below, we see Ethan's progress at basketball. This was taken at his last game of the season. It's hard to believe that he couldn't even dribble a ball in October!

Lastly, here is Kate at her pre-ballet/pre-tap class. They are rehearsing for their end of the year recital. Kate's in the middle, the only girl NOT wearing any kind of a skirt. Why am I so anti-tutu??? Of course, you should see what their costume is going to be. Totally, offensively girly! Poofs, sequins and all! But hey, you're only 3 once :)

Christmas 2011

To our friends and family near and far, Merry Christmas!

Here is how we spent most of our morning...and tonight we are exhausted from all the play! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9GRbQNRWSg&feature=youtu.be

The season's first snow...

It came so fast I didn't have snow pants for the kids yet! We're lucky Kate had some boots and one of Ethan's old hats.
Look at the pretty snowflakes! I was the only one who stayed inside. They threw snowballs at the window to tease me.

The next morning brought sledding down the driveway

Add a new, homemade fleece hat for Kate.

I finally got my snow gear on and built a snow man! David helped with the finishing touches :)

First Snow

Our first real snow! Enough to go sledding that is. Last night we were all bundled up and ready to go to one of the local sledding hot spots when we noticed our driveway had a slight incline. Hmm. Let's try that instead. It turned out to be just right!

Here's some video footage . I used the "night vision" setting on the camcorder at first, which resulted in some freaky looking faces! Then I discovered that our camcorder has a little light you can turn on. Perfect for nighttime filming!
